Cosy Lakeside Cabin Retreat

Enjoy a beautiful stay at our lakeside cabin located only 20 minutes from Uppsala city centre. The charming house is an ideal escape for couples, families, small groups of friends, or solo adventurers. You will have a memorable experience thanks to the views over the lake, the nearby forests, nature reserves and hiking trails, as well as the peaceful and everchanging garden. Here you can rest, hike, kayak, fish, bike, swim, explore or just simply have a wonderful vacation stay! Welcome! The space The cabin is a comfortable house that offers a unique experience with its proximity to the water. You'll have the entire house to yourself, complete with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Inside, there is a bright veranda with lake views, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, two bedrooms, and a cosy sleeping niche/small room. Outside, there is a wooden deck with seating at the front of the house, an outdoor dining area and a dock on the water. You also have access to an outdoor grill. It's a perfect house for families with children and the garden offers a fantastic experience for everyone. The cabin comfortably sleeps up to 5 guests, featuring a 180 cm king bed in the master bedroom, a 140 cm queen bed in the second bedroom and a 120 cm bed in the niched room (accessed from the master bedroom). Board games, books and magazines are included and there is strong WiFi throughout. Guest access The house is accessed by a path from the street and a private parking area (included) and you can use the gate directly onto the lake promenade. It's conveniently located 40 metres from the main building but still feels private and has its secluded garden/outdoor area. You'll stay in an idyllic location just a 15-minute drive from the city or 20-30 minutes by bus with the bus stops within only 600 meters of walking distance. Parking is included. Arlanda Airport is a 30-minute drive away and there are easy connections with bus/train to the airport. Other things to note There are two bikes to be borrowed if you want to cycle along the lake promenade or do sightseeing in Uppsala (the city of bikes). There is a kayak and a rowing boat available during the summer season (from May to September). Binoculars, hiking trail maps and information about the surroundings are provided. No TV is available but a monitor to connect your device to is included. The bed linen and towels are changed weekly for longer stays. If you want to change within the week, a cost of 120 sek per person is added per time. A high chair, cot and children's toys can be provided - please note at the time of booking so we have time to prepare. Parking for one car is available on the premises. More cars can be parked on the neighbouring grounds - without cost. Pets are allowed, but we kindly ask that they be kept under supervision at all times. Please ensure that your pets are well-behaved and that any messes are cleaned up promptly to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all guests. Extra services and add-ons: Breakfast can be arranged and placed in the fridge before your arrival for 200 SEK per person and per morning.
