Outdoor fire pit and camping chairs available during non restricted burning periods. 2x King single mattresses available on request and will incur extra cost per person per night. There’s ample parking and camping space available. Separate outside shower and toilet (very rustic). Guest access You are welcome to wonder around our property and down to the brook. Our fencing does not follow our property boundaries due to allowing for tractor, fire fighting access and a section for camping. Walking straight down the fence line from your home to the little gate at the bottom of the property, pass through this gate (be sure to close it behind you) turning right. You can walk right along the bank of the brook until you reach the large fallen tree. At this point please come back through the big gate near the tree and follow the fence line from there. If you are unsure please ask for directions before you head off so as not to trespass onto our neighbors properties. Boots or enclosed shoes are recommended year round. Google maps is great for showing all the roads and trails in the forests around the property. There are some challenging walks/rides with rewarding beautiful views. We also have a ‘secret’ look out point which is across the road from us up the hill. (This is a very steep climb with no trail as such so again please ask for directions and not suggested for walking up to in the summer!). Good walking shoes required.
