Come stay in our Kura (Family Treasure Room) in a traditional Japanese Guesthouse. Located in the beautiful countryside of Uda, you will experience a very peaceful and relaxing escape from the busy life of the city. Surrounded by pristine nature, the area is great for experiencing a more relaxed part of Japan. The space The rooms are limited to one group per day and include three 6-tatami mat Japanese-style rooms, one 8-tatami mat Japanese-style room, and a fully-enclosed veranda. The rooms can be used by 1 to 10 people. Each of the included rooms are adjoined and can be used together or separated through the use of the sliding doors between each room. A restroom (no shower/bathtub) is also available for use exclusively by the guests. Although the host family also lives in this house, it is divided into the 1st and 2nd floors. The guest rooms are separate from the shared area on the 1st floor, and the 2nd floor is used exclusively by the host. The dining room and bathroom are shared areas between the guests and the host family. Breakfast includes local ingredients such as fresh vegetables from the nearby farms. You can also enjoy creative seasonal cuisine for dinner (Japanese or Western) as an add-on option. Cooking can be served in your room if desired. We also offer BBQ using fresh ingredients. Please feel free to contact us with any questions. Guest access Guests access Guests have access to the 1st floor of the house, as the 2nd floor is the private living area of the host. Guests can freely use the following spaces: guest's exclusive rooms, the living room (shared), the bathroom (shared), the toilets (one private to guests, one shared), the sunroom, and the outdoor area. Guests have also access to free WiFi, parking, and the washing machine. How to come Uda is a short train ride from both the Osaka and Kyoto regions. Host can pick you up at the Haibara train station. Please inform the arrival time to the host in advance. Guests can also arrive by car, as they can park in front of the house. (4 parking spot) During your stay The host is living in the same house where you are going to stay. If you have any questions during the duration of your stay, please ask the host.
