Summer Paradise or Winter Wonderland. Our wee house has lots to offer with birdsong, trees and river. Enjoy the unique surroundings. We are a short drive from the Herbert Forest downhill mountain cycle track and walkways, Moeraki and Oamaru are less than 20 minutes away. The space Our house is compact with the feeling of space. Three bedrooms with queen and double beds and one bunk bed with king single mattresses and comfort for adults or children. The living area is designed for you to move furniture to meet your needs. Chairs and bean bags are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The kitchen side bench is on wheels and can be moved outside. Board games, puzzle and rackets, shuttlecocks and petanque set are included for your entertainment. The immediate area around the house is flat with native bush and rhododendrons. Summer is a great time to walk up river (you will be walking through water) and it is worth it. We have a great waterhole below the house. River access is available via a downhill walkway or stairway by the house. Other things to note It is a rural property and we do have rabbits - the good news is they won't harm you. We are trying to manage the population without chemicals. As the property is a forest setting there is bait motels on the property. It is unlikely a dog can get into the motel and we can remove these if you advise us you are bringing a dog.
