Beautiful Danford House & Lodge with Hot Tub

Danford House & Lodge is a rare find. Located in the rural village of Hartpury, this beautiful country home is perfect for exploring The Cotswolds. Our home offers 4 bedrooms in total spread across a main detached country house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and an adjacent air conditioned lodge with a bedroom, lounge and shower. Outside has a terrace with feature hot tub for 6 guests and outside play area with table tennis table. Other features include a pool table and projector screen. The space Danford House and Lodge is located in Hartpury and is the perfect getaway to visit Gloucester, The Cotswolds, and beyond! Two floors make up the main house. The main entrance leads into a snug lounge with a flat-screen TV, sofas, and a fireplace. This flows into a breakfast area and kitchen equipped with all the amenities you'd expect, including a washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, electric oven and hob, kettle, toaster, and microwave. The kitchen also provides access to the outside via a convenient boot room. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large dining room with a dining table that comfortably seats 10. This table also doubles as a stunning 7ft pool table! Patio doors from the dining room lead to the rear part of the large wrap-around gardens. On the other side of the house, still on the ground floor, is a comfy lounge with a SMART TV and another feature log-burning stove. This generously sized room has a corner sofa and a second three-seater sofa, seating up to eight guests (ten if you squeeze together)—perfect for enjoying a family movie night. Also downstairs is a stunning four-piece family bathroom with a feature roll-top bath and a large walk-in shower. Moving upstairs, you’ll find three double bedrooms. The Master Suite has a king bed, walk-through wardrobe, dressing area, and its own private en-suite shower room. Bedroom 2, known as the Blue Room, has another double bed for two more guests. Bedroom 3, is a large space split into two areas: one with a double futon sofa bed, leading to another room (an attic room) with its own double bed, allowing this area to sleep four guests. Note that the attic room has a sloping ceiling that is height restrictive. There is also a convenient WC on the upstairs landing. Just next to the house, with stunning views over the landscape, is the self-contained lodge which has its own Air Conditioning. The lounge in the lodge can be transformed into a home cinema, ideally suited for four guests, with a pull-down projector screen and projector where you can log in to your own streaming services. The sofa converts into a double sofa bed, and there’s also an armchair. The lodge also features a useful kitchenette with a kettle, toaster, microwave, and fridge. Additionally, the cabin has a fantastic bedroom suite with a super king bed and a modern shower room. Outside, there's loads going on! On the main porcelain terrace there is a hot tub for 6, outdoor cold shower, outdoor seating all of which overlook the stunning westerly views over the private wild garden countryside. Next to this area and NEW for 2025 is another, stepped down, with a brick (charcoal fuelled) BBQ. Also outside is large open barn where you'll find a games area with more seating, table-tennis, Jumbo Connect 4, darts and a recently added foosball table. Lastly - we also have a fantastic private chef available for hire too - please enquire for his details. Guest access The home has everything you need for a self contained experience. The front door has a Smart Lock and the code for this is released prior to your arrival. Other things to note - We are privileged to be looking after this home on behalf of private owners. - We welcome pets for an additional £20 per day per pet (capped for longer stays). Please note that this is not included in the price of your booking and will be requested separately after your booking is confirmed. - We can provide a basket of kiln-dried wood, kindling, firelighters, and fire starters for an additional £20. - We also include complimentary sachets of tea, coffee & sugar. - You will also find salt, pepper and cooking oil. - Crisp, white bed linen is provided along with 2 is also provided. - We provide complimentary housekeeping services for stays longer than 7 night. If you require additional items or housekeeping services for stays shorter than 7. - Sofa beds - for smaller groups we will contact you to check if you need the sofa beds made up. - We also work with a fantastic private chef who can cook anything and everything on your request.
