The space The large main living room incorporates lounging, dining and cooking. As well as comfy leather chairs, a single sized day bed, perfect for siestas, lazing and reading (or sleeping). The galley kitchen is complete with dishwasher, combi oven and hob. The fridge is big enough for a short stay and the boatshed has an overflow if more space is needed. Separate bedroom with hotel grade queen bed, French linen sheets and built in robe. Limestone bathroom with private walk-in shower, or if you prefer to shower outdoors, a soak under the copper rain shower on the private deck is a must. In winter, the cottage is cosy and warmed by the slow combustion stove and layers of woollen blankets. In summer, the cooling Pittwater breeze is ever present. The cottage sits within the grounds of the historic main house, Trincomalee. Trinco as we affectionately call it was built in 1896 and one of the original old homes on Pittwater. The cottage is entirely separate and private from the main house, with its own access path. Guest access Guests can access all parts of the cottage, and are welcome to use the garden.
