Description
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Introducing our brand new Sky View Lodge (completed June 2024). With plenty of space for 4 people to enjoy their stay on the peak of Staffordshire Moorlands surrounded by breath-taking views of the rolling hills that make the Peak District National Park, with fantastic walking and cycling routes in abundance. Once you step out of the lodge, the panoramic views of the surrounding areas offer some of the most beautiful sun rises and sunsets. The space The 2-bedroom lodge is beautifully presented with an open plan kitchen, dining area and living room, with underfloor heating throughout to keep you cosy in all weathers. The kitchen is well-equipped with a kettle, toaster, 2 ring induction hob, microwave/grill, Belfast sink, fridge, freezer, air fryer, pans, cutlery and utensils, salt, pepper for cooking, tea towels, coffee, tea and sugar. The indoor dining table seats 4 people and offers stunning views through the patio doors of the rolling hills. The living room features a large comfortable sofa, Smart TV, Wi-Fi and a log-burner for those cosy winter evenings. There are 2 separate bedrooms that both benefit from stunning views – the main bedroom has a comfy king size oak bed, with matching oak cabinets wardrobe and TV. It also has an en-suite bathroom with a large powerful spa shower, sink and toilet. The second bedroom has 2 x single beds and an oak bedside cabinet and matching wardrobe, with its own en-suite toilet with sink. Outside, the Lodge benefits from its own private garden with stone patio, BBQ, outdoor seating for 4 to enjoy those unbeatable views - perfect for dining al fresco. Sky View Lodge is ideal for couples, families or a group of friends looking to enjoy an escape in nature with all the home comforts. Visit the neighbouring milking cows at the bottom of your garden. You will also find our friendly flock of Shetland sheep (and their lambs in spring) grazing around our on-site lake. Listen out for the local moorland nesting skylarks, lapwings and curlews, don't be surprised if you see and hear owls or even deer as well as lots of other woodland wildlife. Guest access We have 2 car parking spaces on site for Lodge guests. Other things to note We provide all bedding, towels and logs for the log burner Location Situated near the village of Biddulph Moor with local amenities including a shop with post office, a chemist and 2 pubs: The Rose and Crown which often provides live music and other events and The Foxhound where you can taste quality beers with the locals.
