Honeybee Hideaway

Welcome to the Honeybee Hideaway! Located near the Meramac, Courtois, and Huzzah Rivers, we invite you to our secluded cabin in the woods. Whether you seek solitude, a private hang with family and friends, or immersion in nature, you can enjoy a quiet break from the hustle and bustle. Our 800 sq ft cabin is on 90 acres with 2 miles of walking trails. The space Our cabin sleeps eight people (two queens and four twins) in an upstairs loft. Linens, soap, and shampoo are provided. A small kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, oven, sink, and coffee maker is available. Pots, pans, dishes, and basic utensils are in the cabinets. Farm fresh eggs (seasonal) and breakfast basics, such as pancake mix and coffee will be in the refrigerator. Dining chairs for eight people are available. We have indoor plumbing, including a hot shower and toilet. An air conditioner unit cools the cabin with two ceiling fans upstairs to move cool air. WiFi is not available; cell service usually works to hot spot a laptop or iPad. There are TVs available that will play an extensive DVD collection, as well as an OG Nintendo. A reasonable amount of firewood is included. Extra can be purchased for $10/armload. Any downfall is free. Our cabin is a true glamping experience. Encounters with nature and occasional bugs are common both indoors and outdoors. The indoor fireplace is not functional. Three electric heaters are available to take the chill off. Guest access The cabin, fire pit, picnic tables, outdoor shower, and outhouse are all yours. A trampoline can be used if you follow the posted rules. Hiking trails can be used. The shipping container on the property is personal storage, locked, and cannot be tampered with.
