Cabin in pastoral idyll

Small and cozy cottage located in the countryside in a village with origins from the 14th century. You have Ostkustleden right outside the door and several opportunities for both hiking and cycling in the area, both Mtb and country road. There are also several lakes suitable for swimming nearby. Astrid Lindgren's World, Vimmerby and elk parks are less than an hour away by car. Other attractions are the island of Blå Jungfrun, Stensjöby and only 20 minutes to the ferry to Gotland/Öland. Kalmar Castle and Västervik's nice environment is an hour away. The space 2 beds/double bed with high and adjustable head and foot end in the sleeping loft, the double bed's two beds can be pushed apart to two single beds if desired. In the loft, there is a flat-screen TV. A bunk bed on the lower floor. An extra mattress is available that can be put on the floor if needed. A travel bed for small child/baby is available. Modern kitchen set in 2024 with stovetop, oven, microwave and combined fridge/freezer. Bathroom with underfloor heating, heated towel rail, shower and washing machine. Dining table with kitchen sofa and 4 chairs. TV corner with big sofa and bean puff. Wi-Fi in the cabin and streaming services such as Disney+ and Netflix are included. AppleTv and Cromecast are available. New installed air conditioning in June 2025. Guest access You have access to the whole cottage, the patio next to the cottage and a charcoal grill. There is parking for several cars outside the property. Charging of an electric car is done in agreement with the landlord, as a tag is required to charge the car. Other things to note Electric vehicles can be charged at the EV charging station at a cost of SEK 5/kWh (EUR 0.5/kWh). To charge your electric vehicle, you borrow a tag, which you then return upon checkout. If the tag is not returned, a fee of SEK 500 / EUR 50 will be charged. Towels can be borrowed at a cost of SEK 50/person. Bed linens can be borrowed at a cost of SEK 50/person. Payment for additional services is made via an online payment service or in cash (EUR/SEK). A gym is available upon consultation with the landlord and is free to use.
