Gorjanski dwarf's vineyard cottage

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful retreat at the foot of the Gorjanci Hills. The accommodation provides the necessary comfort, coziness, and a break from everyday worries and rush. It offers beautiful views of Gorjanci, the Pleterje Charterhouse, the Šentjernej Valley, and distant hills. The accommodation is close to major tourist attractions: Pleterje Charterhouse, Otočec Castle, Otočec Adventure Park, Kostanjevica na Krki, etc. Proximity to Ljubljana and Zagreb airports. The space It is a wooden house on three floors, with the upper two floors made of wood. The middle floor is a living area with a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and hallway. A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor, where there are attic sleeping areas with three beds. Sleeping is also possible on a sofa bed(which can also be extended) in the living room. The basement floor contains storage spaces. In front of the entrance to the basement, there is an area with a table and chairs made from a wine barrel or parts of it. There is parking for one or more cars along the access road, covered with vines that provide excellent shade for parked vehicles. The house is surrounded by a vineyard, offering shelter, shade, and a pleasant relaxing environment. In the lower part of the vineyard, there is a garden with fruit trees. Guest access The accommodation includes the interior of the wooden part of the building, which is the upper two floors. The basement areas are excluded from the accommodation, except for the exterior, which is fully available. Guests are also allowed to walk around the vineyard and garden with the restriction not to cause any damage to the vines and trees. The area at the level of the entrance to the accommodation with a table and chairs and two deckchairs, which are located on the wall of the basement rooms, is also available. Other things to note The location of the accommodation is at the foot of the Gorjanci Hills, where the terrain begins to rise. The altitude is around 340 m. The terrain is sloped, as this is most suitable for growing vines, and it also allows for good views of the valley(especially at sunset) and the slopes of Gorjanci. Due to the amount of work in the vineyard, it may happen that guests encounter the hosts who may be performing necessary tasks in the vineyard (mowing the grass, tending the vines, harvesting...). The house provided a pleasant home for a family with two children years ago, and when the family grew, we moved to a larger apartment.
