The Cortijo del Pino is an accommodation in an authentic 19th century Andalusian farmhouse located in the country side 3 km from the city. It has 4 apartments of different capacity: Atrojes, Cuadra, Tinao and Torreón, distributed in the old agricultural units of the cortijo. The Tinao apartment occupies the old hayloft and warehouse of agricultural tools. A duplex, with an open mezzanine and a double bedroom with a vaulted ceiling. Surrounded by extensive gardens, swimming pool and parking. The space El Cortijo del Pino is a large late 19th-century agricultural building that has been restored to offer four independent lodgings distributed among former farm buildings, in addition to the family home and other spaces for agricultural activities. The building is structured on two floors around a central courtyard with stone columns, a tower with a dovecote, a cistern and outbuildings for agricultural use. The entire building is surrounded by gardens with abundant vegetation: wisteria, lime trees, palm trees, laurels, cypresses... and on the south façade, an orange grove, the swimming pool and the solarium. The renovation of the building has preserved its structure, recovering most of the original construction elements: woodwork, flooring, and even fixtures and furnishings in a cosy and authentic atmosphere. In addition to its tourist use, Cortijo del Pino continues to be used for agriculture, with two hectares of organically grown fruit trees (apple, pear, plum, apricot...). Its production, which is staggered throughout the summer, is destined for local consumer groups and specialised shops in the city. Its location makes it possible to enjoy all the cultural offerings of the city, while staying in a traditional building with the characteristic architecture of the Vega de Granada. Very close to the city, yet far from the hustle and bustle of urban activity. The Tinao house occupies the old barn and agricultural tool shed. It is structured as a duplex, with an open wooden loft. On the ground floor is the living room with a wood-burning stove, the kitchen and the bathroom. On the upper floor is the bedroom, with a double bed, and in the living room there is a comfortable double sofa bed that increases its capacity for one or two people. Other things to note Our location does not have public transport. To get here without a car from the bus or train station, you can take a taxi or Uber at an approximate cost of €15. To get to the centre of Granada, you can use this service again or use our bicycles (available to borrow for our guests) .
