Due to the strong undertow on the Pacific Ocean, there is no swimming allowed in the ocean right on Sunset Beach. Sunset Beach provides a free hourly bus shuttle ride to the sister hotels where you will find calm swimming waters and numerous watersports available at Medano Beach (on the Sea of Cortez) and the adjacent boat marina.
