Some of our recent reviews: Lenka, September 2025⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Staying at this property was like coming home. It is such a beautiful place with a relaxing nature. You can spot lots of different birds. I had a kangaroo coming to check what's going on every morning while I had my coffee in the garden. Bed was so comfortable and big I felt spoiled. Russell is a person who has great communication skills. Got a reply on a few questions really quickly, and an amazing recommendation for a hike. If you're after a place where you can relax, be in nature while close to so many interesting locations. Jonathan, August 2025 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Secluded and peaceful. A little sanctuary to relax and unwind. Had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations for the price. Would book again without hesitation. Lisabel, June 2025⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I am sitting listening to the birds on the cabin verandah. The cabin is a very peaceful place to stay in the Australian bush AND also in close proximity to local towns and easy reach to the coastline. The cabin is clean, private and has everything you need. The outside has a fireplace ringed nearby by forest. I love it here and recommend it highly for people looking for a peaceful place to stay in Nature while exploring the beautiful Sunshine Coast. The host is very responsive and also respectful of privacy. It’s a rare find. Jaime, April 2025⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Russel and Tracy were great hosts. From booking, check in and check out they were responsive and helpful the whole time. This is a lovely, unique stay with an abundance of wildlife and beautiful surroundings. Will definitely stay again ! Bailey, March 2025⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic stay, cute little cabin on a large piece of land that gives you plenty of space and privacy Shenzo, February 2025 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you need a place to unplug from the world this is it. Trent, December 2024 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely consider staying again. The surroundings were beautiful and the accommodation was comfortable and well maintained. We especially liked the eco friendliness of this property and the information provided about the local area. Annabel september 2024 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Lovely Cabin with everything you need and very peaceful an private surroundings" Teiki August 2024 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Beautiful cabin in a beautiful location" Amber July 2024 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Absolute hidden gem" It is a unique studio with bed, bathroom, toilet, basic kitchenette with induction cooktop, microwave, bar fridge and outdoor sheltered patio. Enjoy a local restaurant, cook on the firepit, induction cooktop or microwave. Fittings and furniture have been sourced from reclaimed items and materials as much as possible. The architecturally designed toilet is outside the studio to make the most of the forest views while being sensitive to the surrounding ecosystems. Sorry no dogs or cats allowed as this property is a wildlife sanctuary. Minutes away from local restaurants, micro-breweries and cafes in Cooran. During your stay you can explore the local area to enjoy natural beauty spots, have a swim, go for a forest walk, enjoy the beach and shopping, eat and drink at the fabulous, local restaurants, micro-breweries and cafes and join the market throng on weekends. Other things to do include: Bird watching – we have recorded more than 120 species. There’s a birdbath to view from your patio. Photography opportunities. Inspiration for artists. Local hiking, biking and horse riding. You may bring a horse by prior arrangement. There is flat space to turn a horse float and area for installing your horse's enclosure. Access to the property entrance is along a maintained dirt road. Large vehicles e.g. motorhomes, long trailers > 6m, are discouraged as our driveway is sinuous with trees close to the edges. For the lovers of nature, the lack of TV and Wi-Fi will be the relief we crave from constant noise of a busy life. There is telstra and optus mobile phone service.
