Amazing views at Ragged Cottage near Corfe, Dorset

An idyllic Dorset cottage in pretty Kingston village near Corfe. It's hard to capture in photos the fantastic views of Corfe Castle and the Purbeck hills. There's lots to do: stunning walks direct from the cottage, beautiful beaches like Studland and Lulworth Cove, Swanage/Wareham towns to explore, Kimmeridge for fossil hunting, and a top-grade new chef at the local pub (50m walk). It's our own cottage which we let from time to time, taking great care to make it as relaxing as possible. The space The cottage is a traditional stone building with exposed timber beams. You enter into the main sitting room with a large inglenook fireplace. Next door is an additional sitting room/ playroom. Through this you enter the kitchen, a beautiful light and airy space that has elevated far reaching views of corfe castle, purbeck hills and glimpses of poole harbour beyond. Off the playroom there is a small bunk room with a small and functional bathroom. It has a shower, sink and toilet. Upstairs there is the primary bedroom with a lovely king size bed a small cupboard and chest of drawers. Enjoy the views from the bed! Next to this is a twin bedroom. Then the generous bathroom has a lovely rolltop bath, a seperate shower, sink and toilet. The kitchen bifold doors open to a terrace with table and chairs, overlooking Corfe Castle. There's a BBQ, summer house with deck chairs as well as a desk and chair for remote working. The cottage garden is on a slope but has different levels to explore. It has beautiful flower beds and is looked after by our wonderful gardener.
