Fabulous Historic Home in the Heart of San Antonio

Our cozy home was built in 1917 and is part of the lovely, green, and historic Monte Vista district, a turn-of-the-century neighborhood of lush gardens, ancient trees and elegant homes. It's a great neighborhood for walking... or watching others stroll by from the comfort of the porch swing. We're located 5 minutes from downtown, from the Pearl with its entrance to the Riverwalk, from the San Antonio Museum of Art. Original oak floors, tall ceilings, welcoming. The space Your room is on the second floor, filled with light. There are hard wood floors, a ceiling fan (in addition to central AC and heat, of course) and a useful closet. You are across the hall from a private bath, exclusively for your use, that has a wonderful old clawfoot tub for relaxing after a day of touring San Antonio or working. The home has all the charm of the past, with all the usual 21st century conveniences. Guest access Our living room, sun porch and newly renovated kitchen and breakfast room all are available for your use. So is the deep front porch with its wonderful porch swing. Other things to note Because we're in the heart of the city, you are within a very few minutes of downtown, the River Walk, the Pearl, the UNESCO missions, the Alamo, and all that is lively, fun and unique about San Antonio.
