Welcome to Heron House, a stunning, private retreat situated on a secluded 2 acre lot, with your very own private pond. The space Heron House is a newly built, fully modernized cottage that combines luxury amenities with Muskoka charm. From the instant hot water, top of the line heat and AC to the top of the line water purification system, every aspect of the guest experience is 5 star. 🏡 The Cottage The property spans nearly 2500 square feet of living space and featured four spacious bedrooms including an expansive first floor master retreat, a second floor master as well as two additional bedrooms. The master bedrooms both feature King beds and ensuite bathrooms while the two additional bedrooms feature Queen beds and share a beautiful bathroom. The main living space features soaring 15 foot ceilings with stunning floor to ceiling windows overlooking the private pond. The living room features an 11 foot sofa as well as additional chairs and poufs, perfect for watching movies on the 75 inch smart tv. The combined living, dining and kitchen area is perfect for spending time together as a group. The kitchen is fully stocked with every appliance and cooking tool you will ever need. The built in coffee station features both drip and pod machines and the pantry is pre-stocked with staples including coffee, olive oil, spices, condiments, baking supplies and more. 🌲🌲 The Property Of course, visiting Muskoka is about spending quality time outdoors. Heron House is situated on a truly special and private, 2 acre lot that is fully surrounded by wilderness and a private pond. Guests enjoy time on the beautiful walk out deck with an 8 person dining table, large sectional sofa and a gas BBQ. Stepping off the deck and guests can enjoy a 6 person hot-tub, large sun lounger and the 8 person fire pit. For rainy nights, the Muskoka Room provides a cozy space to relax and unwind under charming string lights. Cornhole and Ladder toss help get the fun and competitive juices flowing. Music is also a must, and so we have outfitted every room with a smart speaker as well as one for the outdoor spaces and firepit. 🚶‍♂️ Nearby Attractions For those looking to spend some time at the lake, Dwight Beach is located less than 5 minutes from Heron House. The shallow beach stretches for over 150 metres of unsupervised shoreline, dotted with picnic tables and Muskoka chairs to soak up the view in. With its gentle slope and calm water, Dwight Beach is a great swimming spot for those of all abilities. Take a kayak or canoe out and explore the various inlets along the shore. There is no shortage of local activities including on site hiking trails, nearby golf courses, Algonquin Park (20 minutes) and of course charming Huntsville with it's shopping and dining amenities.
