The space The Yellowhood is a charming, cozy cabin nestled in the serene village of Ramgarh Malla, perfectly situated between Nainital and Mukteshwar. Just 25 km from Nainital, 20 km from Neem Karoli Dhaam, and 24 km from Mukteshwar, it offers an ideal retreat for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty. This delightful cabin spans two floors. The first floor is a cozy half-floor with an open layout that overlooks the ground floor. It houses a comfortable double bed, creating an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. The ground floor features a spacious living room with a double sofa-cum-bed, accommodating extra guests comfortably. A small kitchenette, a well-equipped wash-cum-bathroom, and a large balcony with ample seating space enhance the convenience and comfort of your stay. Additionally, a sunbed in the balcony provides the perfect spot to relax and soak in the surrounding nature. One of the unique features of The Yellowhood is its proximity to a small river stream. The soothing sound of flowing water can be heard day and night, adding to the cabin's charm. The stream is just a 50-meter hike down, perfect for those who enjoy a bit of adventure. Access to the cabin is convenient by car or bike, though the last 500 meters are on an unpaved, bumpy road. Vehicles can reach the parking area right outside the home, from where guests will need to descend about 20 stairs to reach the cabin. The living room is equipped with a smart TV and high-speed Wi-Fi, ensuring you stay connected and entertained. The kitchenette includes an induction stove, basic cookware, dishes, and cutlery—sufficient for preparing tea, coffee, quick snacks, breakfast, and light meals. The Yellowhood is an idyllic retreat, combining comfort, convenience, and the soothing embrace of nature, making it the perfect getaway for anyone seeking peace and relaxation. Guest access Entire access to the Yellowhood cabin! Other things to note -No music is allowed to be played after 9 in open, though you can play soft music inside the house if the gate is closed. The home is loacted in a small village, please do not disturb the local peace else they might call the police. -The last 500 meter road to the house is unmetalled, away from the main road, but the house is accessible by cars(taken they are driven by experienced drivers) -Please understand, while at the property, you may encounter some insects or birds and that as you're sharing the grounds with them too as we are surrounded by the forest. We try to avoid their visits but they have their own minds :) -Our caretaker is a simple man and a localite. He might unknowingly disturb you , please pardon him in case he ends up causing a disturbance but he loves taking care of people and going out of his way to help them. -If you wish to cook on your own, please ensure that you are carrying your own grocery. We have sufficient Cookwares and Utensils. Else you can order your food from a nearby restaurant who takes a nominal delivery charge per order. -We can also try to provide local kumaoni food like Daal, rice, roti, raita, Aloo ke gutkhe for dinner sometimes based on availability with a heads up of 4-5 hours ( since we need to arrange supplies). These will be charged extra though. Please do let reach us out enquiring the same and we will try to arrange for the same on best efforts basis. -If you find that the house isn't as clean as you had expected or if you have specific preferences or requests during your stay, the caretaker is more than willing to make changes according to your needs, ensuring that your experience at our Airbnb house is tailored to your liking. - Cleaning is done daily once, and linens/towels can be changed once in two days for guests staying longer than two days ( we offcourse change linens and towels after every deparure) Guests need to ask Bhuvan for cleaning since we avoid disturbing the guests and their privacy. - Water we get in hills is mineral rich and with us getting used to the pollution in the cities, our body may repulse the minerals, specially the kids. Though we have a water filter installed, in case you are travelling with kids, please carry water bottles (and please carry the empty ones back to the city). -We are sharing our home with you that is invested with a lot of love and with folded hands we request you to keep it just like your own :) - Its not a hotel, its a homestay and we our best to give all the comforts to our guests, but we might not be able match the best hospitality services as per 5 star standards given the place has limited resources.
