Welcome to the charming and cosy La’al cottage in the Cockermouth in the Lake District. The Lake District is an area of outstanding natural beauty located in the North West of England. The cottage is ideally located for relaxing and exploring. Situated in the centre of Cockermouth, with pubs, restaurants and local shops right on the doorstep. Historic Cockermouth is the home of William Wordsworth and gateway to the Northern Lakes, with Keswick only a 20 minute drive away. The space Inside the property offers character and charm with exposed ceiling beams and includes a cosy lounge/dining room with sofa bed. Upstairs there is a delightful and spacious double bedroom and shower room. There is a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, modern bathroom, and heating so cosy in the winter too. Free parking is available in front of cottage with paid street & close carparks also available. There is a pass which allows 1-3hrs free aswell. Guest access Self-check-in at any time after 3pm which suits you. The property is 50 yards down a lane off the main street. Other things to note Ideal for two people but there is a sofa bed so happy to accommodate up to four. We love animals and welcome up to two dogs. There is a small cleaning fee of £10 per dog per booking. The Lake District is super dog-friendly with plenty of pubs and places to eat.
