The space Welcome to your private room in our spacious Berkeley shared home! This is a large, 3200 sq ft 7-bedroom / 2.5-bath craftsman-style home in the heart of Berkeley’s Elmwood neighborhood—just a short walk to UC Berkeley, College Ave, Whole Foods, and more (roughly 5-10 minutes; .5-.7 miles away from campus). . Your room is completely private and secured with a personal door code. It features a queen-size bed, closet, desk, TV, and seating area, This is the largest room at the property, roughly 200 sq ft with a full closet, built in desk area, and plenty of storage space. 🛋 Shared Spaces The kitchen, living room, bathrooms, and yard are shared with other respectful residents. To keep everything running smoothly: • Professional cleaners come 3x a week, but everyone is expected to clean up after themselves. • Clean up right after using the kitchen or bathroom—don’t leave dirty dishes, food waste, hair, or personal items in shared spaces. • Bathrooms must stay tidy: remove hair, wipe down surfaces, hang up towels, and store your toiletries neatly. • If messes are left behind or shared spaces aren’t respected, additional cleaning fees may apply. This home works best for guests who are clean, respectful, independent, and understand the dynamics of shared living. Mutual respect = a great stay for everyone. 🚗 Parking Info Free street parking is available but limited to certain hours—please read all signs carefully. We don’t provide parking permits. The nearby CVS lot allows parking from 8–10pm (no overnight), and street enforcement usually ends after 5pm. Thanks for helping us keep this space clean, peaceful, and enjoyable for all! ✨ Guest access Rooms are all private with their own door codes. Guests have access to the whole property. During your stay I have no preference and let the guests take the lead with what they're comfortable with. Other things to note The room in the photos was professionally staged. The guitars, drum set, and the computers will not be present upon checking in, and some of the plants will not be present either.
