The space As you enter the cottage you are greeted with a convenient entranceway which opens onto a downstairs toilet and separate shower/wash room, ideal for muddy walkers or even paws! This leads to the recently renovated farmhouse style kitchen, equipped with all the basics needed to cook up a delicious meal which you can enjoy at the original solid oak dining table. The living room is a large but cosy space, featuring a comfy three corner sofa, television with streaming apps installed and a desk should you need a work space during your stay. Fairly steep stairs take you up to three tastefully decorated bedrooms; a double, small double and twin single. These are equipped with all the essentials- hanging and draw space, mirrors, hair dryers, fresh towels and bed linen. The modern upstairs bathroom features a bath/shower and body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Outside there is a gravelled front courtyard with a seating area. There is no lawn, but there are grass areas just outside the cottage you can take dogs on leads. The cottage also sits right on the start of a public footpath/bridleway leading to a woodland walk. Guest access Blackberry farm is a semi detached cottage with the whole house available for guests to use. The cottage is easily identifiable by the wooden picket fence (see pictures). There is a private parking bay, opposite which will fit two normal sized cars.. Being a farm shop there will be some slow moving visiting cars during open hours, as well as occasional farm traffic caring for the farm animals which can be visited on the site. Other things to note We welcome guests of any age, however do not have any of amenities or facilities for infants and the stairs (being an older cottage) are quite steep so potentially unsuitable for under2s or the infirm. We are pet friendly, welcoming up to three well behaved dogs- we provide one pet bed but encourage you to bring all your pets home comforts so they feel at home. There is an additional charge of £15 for pets and we kindly ask they remain downstairs.
