Description
Welcome to L’Ourssatero, our sun-soaked house with amazing views of the mountains. Nestled in a quiet little village in the Pyrenees, this old stone house has quite a history as it was home to a bear trainer (and his bear) not so long ago. Spacious, well equipped, and comfortable. A perfect place to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and explore the many wonderful places in this relatively unknown part of the Pyrenees. The space Welcome to our home! Its an old stone house that has been well renovated and comfortable. It has a modern kitchen with stunning views of the mountains, a comfy living room, and an office/craft space. There are 5 bedrooms: 3 have a single bed, one has a full size bed for two, and one has a queen size next to the lower terrace. The house has three full bathrooms - two with showers and one with a bath tub. The outside space is full of flowers, fruit trees, and shady places to relax. The side and back garden provide different quiet spaces to enjoy the views. A lower terrace is a great place to soak up the sun, read a book, or have aperitif! The upper terrace just off the kitchen has a table for 8 which is ideal for warm days from spring through fall (and occasionally winter!). Guest access This is our home and we welcome you to it! As it is our home that we rent when we are elsewhere, it means we do have some of our personal things in it and we ask that you respect those things. In that sense, there are a few clothing dressers and closets that we will close off. But don't worry, there are plenty of places for you to put your clothes as well! Likewise, we have some basic food that will stay in the house - if you need to use some of it in a pinch, please make sure you replace it before leaving. Other things to note This is our home...which we share with our cats! Three lovely, affectionate cats who will need to be give food and water during your stay (of course we will leave plenty of food for them). They let themselves in an out to spend time outdoors (which also means there is no cat box to clean!). We also have chickens at the bottom of the garden which you are welcome to feed (and they may provide you with eggs) or we can have our lovely neighbors come take care of them.
