Centrally located in the Casa Solana neighborhood, this spot is walkable/bikeable to both the Railyard & Plaza (1.5 miles away) with convenient access to coffee shops, the Co-op, and everything you’ll want to see in Santa Fe. a quick drive to the opera and across the street from the paved Santa Fe River Trail, next to a lovely park with tennis courts and a pool. It’s a short drive to Meow Wolf and Museum Hill and 10-30 minutes up the mountain to hiking trails and Ski Santa Fe. The space ENTRANCE Private, ground-level entrance with driveway parking right in front of the casita and keyless entry with your personal code. Self check-in/out for your convenience. LIVING AREA As a converted single car garage, it’s a modest, cozy base for exploring Santa Fe and surrounding areas. It is similar to a hotel room or studio with modern amenities. Perfect for couples who want to refresh between outings and a comfy place to sleep or a single person who has a trip planned. There is a closet available for luggage. Note that there is a shared wall with the main house's living area. Even so, it is a peaceful stay. KITCHENETTE Includes a retro mini-fridge and microwave for simple meal prep. Great for those exploring during the day and excited to dine out. There is a list of restaurant recommendations in the house manual. For coffee and tea there is a pour-over and electric kettle. Betterday, a local coffee shop with burritos, is only a three-block walk. La Montañita Co-op is also right there for any snacks or sandwich makings you may need. OUTDOOR AREAS There is a private flagstone patio at the entrance with a small table and chairs for meals in nice weather. When weather isn’t compliant, a small indoor table is ready to convert for eating meals, hopping on the laptop, card games, etc. The backyard is reserved for the owner and dog, who live in the main part of the house. BED & BATH There is a queen size bed with a TV for streaming and blackout curtains in the front. The bathroom is spacious (nearly ADA compliant — the sink is a little high). Tall overhead shower and secondary nozzle.
