The studios have individual entrances, kitchenette, put. bath, and are furnished with hand crafted rustic pieces. This listing is for a lower studio only, see photo captions. Studios view garden and barn yard where bougainvillea covered arbors shade amiable chickens, rabbits, wildlife and rescued others. There are art supplies for guest use and a special craft area. Because the studios are accessed through a garden gate proximate to pets we can not accommodate additional visitors, if you are joining friends please plan to meet them off-site. The animals are very sensitive to voices so this setting is only appropriate for people who enjoy hearing the occasional cluck, snort or snuffle, but can be comfortable being very quiet themselves while anywhere on the property. We are an urban wildlife sanctuary. In addition to rescued pets we rehabilitate/release raccoons, possums, squirrels, chipmunks, etc. .We are participating in a renewal project to reintroduce frogs native to the environment (although so far they seem to prefer a neighbor's pond). We don't have televisions, and ask guests to use headphones if listening to music. No smoking of any kind or drugs are allowed on the property. Your pets are welcome if friendly and quiet, they are only allowed in limited areas, but there are some private patios for their enjoyment. Week end, seasonal and short stay pricing may vary. Thanks!
