The house was completely modernized in the summer of 2024 and furnished to a high standard. The open kitchen/living room is the heart of the house and offers everything you need for relaxed cooking – including a teppanyaki grill for social evenings. The light-flooded living area leads directly to the spacious 40 m² terrace with a comfortable lounge, barbecue and views of the countryside – ideal for relaxing hours with family or friends. 🌳 The garden The large garden borders directly on the water. From here you can reach your private jetty, exclusively for you – for swimming, fishing or for a tour with the provided stand-up paddleboard (SUP). A fire pit provides warmth and coziness on cooler evenings. ✨ Amenity Highlights Inside the house, modern comfort awaits you: - A smart TV with Apple TV, - an extra large bathtub (also for tall people), - a washing machine, - as well as a separate office with high-speed Wi-Fi, printer, flipchart, charging cables and writing material – ideal for workation or longer stays. 🌲 Location & surroundings The cottage is located in Rauchfangswerder, an idyllic district in the extreme south of Berlin-Köpenick, nestled between Lake Zeuthen and extensive forests. The area is a real insider tip for those who love peace, nature and water – without sacrificing proximity to the city. The forest starts right outside the front door – perfect for walks, jogging or bike rides. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly and family-oriented – you will feel welcome here immediately. Rauchfangswerder was founded in the 18th century originally founded as a fishing and charcoal village and has retained its charming, almost rural character to this day – a piece of real, historic Berlin away from the hustle and bustle. 🗽 Sights & connections Despite the idyllic location, you can easily reach many Berlin highlights by car: Köpenick Old Town: about 20 min. East Side Gallery: approx. 35 min. Alexanderplatz: about 40 min. Brandenburg Gate / Government District: approx. 45 min. BER Airport: about 25 minutes Alternatively, the bus and tram go to the S-Bahn (S Zeuthen or S Grünau), from there the center is also easily accessible. Guest access The entire house is at your disposal for your exclusive use – including garden, terrace and private jetty on the lake. You can look forward to absolute privacy and tranquility. In the house you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay: towels, bed linen, toiletries, kitchen equipment, Wi-Fi, smart TV, office workstation and much more. Parking is available right outside the door – free and reserved for you. Other things to note The house is only rented to non-smokers. No smoking in the entire house or on the entire property.
