The space This property was remodeled as a duplex. And was operated as local housing for many years. Originally one of the fine older houses along the once bustling Main Street, the remodeling was done by my parents who lived just houses away when they were first married and two children in. This neighborhood was the one that my father grew up in. My grandparents once owned the maroon brick house by the library, where they raised three successful sons and ran Baker Drug Store on the square. The foundation of the Lindsey motel still remain on the full corner block property. This motel burned down, causing quit a stir on the block. The small cinder block building on the corner was Marshall’s telephone company in the 50’s and 60’s. Guest access Enter and unload in the front with access code.
