Rustic cottage on waterfront, Peninsula Rilán

Included in the "11 of the best Airbnbs in Chile" by The Culture Trip. The cottage, of 590 ft2, is in the sector of Yutuy in the peninsula of Rilán, to 35 minutes from Castro and the airport. It is an old cellar of native wood rehabilitated, with a wonderful view to the Bay of Castro, a hot tub for four people and direct access to the beach. It is a perfect starting point for touring the island by land or by sea. You can go to Castro by boat, on a 10-minute trip. The space It has a double bedroom on a mezzanine, a second bedroom with two small single beds (for children), and a living room with a view of the bay. It has wood-burning heating and a well-equipped kitchen, for those who love cooking. To get there you do not need a 4x4 car. It has parking inside the property, at the level of the beach, about 25 meters from the cabin. If you come with small children, it is important that you know that the terraces have no protection. For safety, the cabin is not enabled to barbecue or fire outside. Guest access The cottage has a direct access to a quiet beach, in front of the work of fishermen. For the cold days it has a wooden tub with a wonderful view to the bay of Castro, avalaible throughout your stay. There are two walking kayaks available, to tour the coast of the peninsula. In March and April they are available to harvest delicious traditional Chiloé apples, to make foot, jams and other recipes. The cottage has WiFi . Other things to note You can cross by boat from/to Castro, in a trip of 15 minutes, with a person of Yutuy. It also offers boat trips along the bay. About 40 minutes away is Dalcahue, with the most important handicraft fair in the area, in addition to having "cocinerías" with good traditional food from Chiloé.
