Get away from it all! Enjoy beautiful views and bring your fishing gear. Come relax at the bunkhouse on a 100 acre ranch that has 3 private ponds, longhorn cattle, deer, coyote, wild birds and lots of fishing! Beautiful sunsets, sunrises & bird watching! Only minutes from Pine Dunes Golf Course, Neches River Run, Athens Diver Park, 5H Sports, New York Zipline and Lake Palestine! The place can get muddy or dusty (depending on conditions.) Carts are available to rent by the night ask Linda. The space You are invited to fish and hike around the property. You may hike or drive around on the roads. You can view the longhorn cattle from the road. The drive way is a work in progress. It is not all concrete as of yet. If raining, the driveways & the area directly in front of the bunkhouse can get muddy. It drains well for the most part but can still be muddy. Please note barbless hooks are the only hook we allow to fish with. Guest access The bunkhouse and porches, all 3 ponds, decks and the roads. For your safety, do not enter into the longhorn cattle area. No swimming or boating allowed. The shop/barn, outbuildings and barndo are all off limits. You may use the backyard of the barndo to access the pond. Other things to note Please be aware that there are live wild animals on this property. You could come into contact with snakes, skunks raccoons, opossums, rats, coyotes, scorpions etc! Most everything will leave you alone as long as you leave it alone! Give these wild animals plenty of room to get away should you come up on one. Be careful where you're walking, please watch where you step especially in the high grass.
