The space Our Cozy Country Casita sits on 6 acres of family-owned land, offering peaceful privacy and yet quick access to town. Unwind in our circular outdoor seating area featuring our own handcrafted Adirondack chairs surrounding a cozy fire pit — perfect for morning coffee, evening wine, or relaxing under the Texas stars. We are also slowly working on filling our yard with native plants for color and beauty. There’s plenty of parking for vehicles large or small. We’re conveniently located near local favorite spots and area ranches, and just a 35-minute drive to downtown San Antonio. Shopping, restaurants, Walmart, and Interstate 35 are only about 3 minutes away, making errands and dining easy. Please note our Casita faces a country highway. While you’ll enjoy the rural surroundings and convenient location, guests should expect to hear traffic noise. Guest access During your stay, you’ll have full access to the Casita and its backyard. The space is private, so you can relax and enjoy your visit. For safety, please avoid entering other buildings, wandering onto other parts of the property, or approaching our horse. Other things to note Our Casita is surrounded by natural, open land, so you may encounter wildlife—big or small—during your stay. We do our best to keep bugs and critters away, but a few may still visit. You will not feel isolated while at this casita. We have a few free-range chickens and one cat around the property. You can start brewing your coffee once our rooster crows plus watch the daily traffic on our country highway that the house faces. Guests who enjoy the charm of country life will love this cozy setting!
