Quality cooking facilities, walk to grocery store, events, central.. Also a weekly farmers market has a location that is 60 yards away. Best wifi in town, 3 fiberoptic feeds if one goes down we have backups... restaurants 60 yards away either direction, two of the best This is a single bed with amazing water views. Though this room is not large it makes up for that with the amazing sunrise and ocean views that very few locations in town offer from a bedroom specially at this price. For those who sleep in, and do not love the amazing million dollar sunrises, there is a steel shutter sitting outside the window that can be put up to block that amazing sunrise. A majority of the property, all beach area and the rooms, and 3 community bathrooms and one kitchen. My tool room, TV room and my second kitchen which are separate are off limits. I am present on the location on a daily basis, out windsurfing when the wind is up.. We are in the main area of LaVentana, 200 yards north of the La Ventana campground,, not in the boonies. we are walking distance to 8 mid to low cost places to eat. Two of those 20 and 200 meters away two of the top 5 in town. You have your own fridge and freezer space to keep items and dry shelf space. There are plenty of cooking utensils and stove oven for people who are cooking fans. This is a great area to launch your kite or windsurf rig. There are plenty of people to catch your kite just downwind a bit. If you are a good kiter self-launch or walk downwind 300 yards if a novice. A short beach walk. We are in the center of the main area so walk each direction for all things. We are not just a room in a home, we are more of a community, you will get to know some great people who stay here. I have people that have been coming here for over 15 years for 2-4 months a year. One former guest bought a penthouse down the street but still kites out of here. We become more than friends to family. A dive center is easy 400 yard walk, kite and windsurf gear rental 400 yard walk. Everything you need is walking distance from here. You do not need a car while here. We have privacy and security yet a short walk to the thick of activities in LaVentana. You do not need a car here yet you can sleep at night because the bars and crowded resorts are a good walk away. There is a farmers market within walking distance once a week, 60 meters away. Water is a valuable commodity as this is a desert, we get 3-6 days of rain a year. We do ask you to take short showers and not rinse you equipment off as I never have and it is just fine. We also do recycling; all plastic, cardboard, and aluminum containers must be lightly rinsed and smashed down. We also ask you to buy aluminum vs glass. When the garbage is full, take out to the main container if you are going to use the kitchen. If the community 5 gallon drinking bottle is empty you place 40 pesos in it and change it out with a full one. The tap water is good enough for cooking pastas.
