The space 🛏️ Comfortable space: Oasis is a comfortable, private, air-conditioned bedroom designed for a convenient and enjoyable stay. 🍳 Living & essentials: The space is well equipped with all the essentials for both short visits and longer stays, combining practical comfort with a warm Mauritian atmosphere. 🌿 Local surroundings: The house is set in a genuine residential neighbourhood where everyday life can sometimes be lively and animated, while at other times you may simply enjoy the sounds of nature - the birds, the breeze and peaceful moments of quiet. 🌴 Come, explore and feel the warmth of our community. Guest access 🏠 What you have access to: In addition to your private reserved room, you will have access to the shared-use bathroom, kitchen, and covered terrace with other guests. 🚗 Private on-site parking is also available for guests. During your stay ✈️ Airport transfer: Airport shuttle or private transfer service available at a very favorable rate, subject to availability. Please request in advance. 📍 Places of interest & food: We are happy to recommend places of interest, beaches, local markets, Mauritian food and some of our favourite places to eat. 🚗 Tailor-made road trips: We also offer optimized, tailor-made road trips around Mauritius at very interesting rates, adapted to your interests and available time. 🤝 Personal assistance: We respect your privacy but remain available whenever you need help or practical information during your stay. 🌴 Explore independently: Enjoy the freedom to discover Mauritius at your own pace, with a little local guidance whenever you need it. Other things to note 🌴 Your island base: Settle in, explore Mahébourg and the southeast countryside, or discover more of our amazing island, while enjoying the freedom to explore Mauritius at your own pace. 💶 Tourist Fee – Mauritius: A mandatory €3 Tourist Fee per person, per night applies to tourists aged 12 and above, effective 1 October 2025. The fee is not included in the accommodation price and is collected separately in full by Oasis upon arrival. Exemptions apply, including children under 12, eligible residents of Mauritius, Mauritian passport holders living abroad, and holders of a valid Residence Permit or Premium Visa. For practical payment purposes, Oasis collects the MUR equivalent (approximately Rs172 per person/night) rather than physical euros. This amount covers the €3 Tourist Fee payable to the Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA) and may be adjusted according to exchange rates.
