Private room 15 minutes to City Centre by train. Situated in a historic 1920s historic Brisbane Queenslander. Private entrance, bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, living area and terrace overlooking a pool. Please note our family lives upstairs and we have cats which can be shut out of your guest suite. The area is not air conditioned however there are four ceiling fans. We are walking distance to the train, bus stop and restaurants. A perfect base for exploring our beautiful city! The space Our home is a gorgeous 1920's Queenslander. Your guest suite is on the ground floor. You will be staying in a private bedroom and bathroom, with your own kitchenette, living area and terrace overlooking the pool. Please note our family of four lives upstairs and the bedroom does not have a door lock. The house is walking distance to restaurants and is a 5 minute drive to Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, which is one of Brisbane's largest shopping centres. We are also walking distance to four parks, netball courts, and beautiful walking trails along the river. You will find our home a calm oasis in a charming character filled neighbourhood. You get the best of both worlds, a big family friendly home just minutes away by train from Brisbane's downtown. Chelmer is about 8 Km drive from Brisbane CBD (downtown). We are a ten minute walk to Graceville or Chelmer train stations. The train runs every fifteen minutes and it is a fifteen minute train ride to downtown Brisbane. You can take the airtrain from the airport to get to the house. Guest access You will have a private entrance to your guest suite. There is plenty of on street parking. During your stay Our family of four lives upstairs. You will hear all the usual family noises and we do use the ground level to move through the house to the garage area (which means we enter your living area from time to time). Other things to note The ground level is not air conditioned. It stays cool year round and there are four ceiling fans in this area. You are most welcome to use the pool.
