Description
My home is special because the moment you step through the door, you’ll feel at ease. Traveling is exciting, but having a comfortable space to relax makes all the difference. I’ve lived away from my homeland for 13 years, and although Copenhagen has become dear to me, I still feel a little like a foreigner. I’ve made this space cozy and welcoming so that it feels like home — and I hope it will for you too. The space Welcome to my cozy first-floor apartment in a charming Copenhagen building. There’s no elevator, just two short flights of stairs. This 62 sqm space features two rare balconies, a spacious living room with the comfiest couch that doubles as a bed for one, and a stylish 60s round table with chairs that my mom and I reupholstered together. The decor is a playful mix of second-hand finds and IKEA pieces—a classic Copenhagen style for someone in their thirties. The bright bedroom has a super comfy 140 cm mattress, perfect for two, and overlooks a quiet, shady courtyard with a playground, BBQ spots, and benches to enjoy long summer evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs, with plenty of utensils and a dishwasher (no washing machine). The bathroom is small but quirky, converting into a shower—a typical Danish feature. The apartment is full of personal touches and memories, with photos of loved ones adding warmth to the space. I hope you’ll enjoy it and care for it as much as I do. P.S. In Danish homes, it’s customary to remove your shoes before entering. It’s a sign of respect, keeps the home clean, and protects the floors. Please remember to take off your shoes each time you come in. Guest access Once you book my home you'll have access to the whole apartment, as well as access to the backyard area where you can bbq, eat dinner and sit in the sun
