"Casa Morenica": The Cement House
Description
"Casa Morenica" is a building from the 1900s, located in Montalto Dora, on the Via Francigena, 2 km from Ivrea. Renovated in 2023, it consists of two separate rooms, used as guest rooms. It is about 50 km from Turin and 60 km from Aosta. Within walking distance of Ivrea train station, 30 minutes on foot and 15 by bike. The "Parco dei 5 laghi" area starts a few hundred meters away, going up towards the castle. Less than two minutes away: two restaurants, two bars and a take-out pizzeria. The space The "La Cementina" room is a 21 sqm room with a bathroom with shower. Here you will find a common space, with two clothes hangers, a wall mirror, a comfort area with kettle, welcome set with cups+tea+herbal teas+instant coffee (for environmental reasons, we do not support the use of pods), cloth napkins, mini-fridge, a double bed, an armchair-bed and a chair; two wooden "see-through" walls allow the division with the wardrobe areas and the bathroom... all while walking on a floor of vintage cement tiles, recovered from the same environment during the renovation phase... a particularly stimulating and unusual environment!! Guest access The building consists of two floors, with private access from the municipal road, an external courtyard that leads to the common stairs to go up to the floors. The room is on the SECOND floor on a balcony, accessible via a shared staircase. The balcony facing the courtyard is private, equipped with a small table, chairs and a bench and smoking is only allowed here; the second, smaller, overlooks the main road. The room is a single room, the bathroom is separate. Other things to note Possibility of a foldable crib for children. Possibility of renting electric bicycles through a shop in Ivrea: discounts on long-term rentals. Registration Details IT001160B46P9H679E
