Guest access The entire accommodation is at your disposal as well as your terraces. You will have a private entrance to access your accommodation. You will access your accommodation through a personalized digicode for the duration of your stay, located on the ground floor of the villa. You will then need to go down the illuminated stairs to access your accommodation. A key box will be located right next to the door of the accommodation to access it. Other things to note **IMPORTANT INFORMATION***: For your information, the water is drinkable in our municipality of FAA'A, so no worries about that. So you can drink the water without any problem if you wish. Water is also potable in the municipalities of Papeete, Pirae, Arue, Mahina, Punaauia and Papara. Outside of these municipalities, it is necessary to buy bottles of water. ***ROADS or EASEMENTS***: Roads OR private roads (easements) here in Tahiti (even in the islands), are often damaged by heavy rains during the rainy season. It is not uncommon to have potholes on the roads. They are not necessarily redone quickly for various reasons... Our easement is a little "dented" on a small part but remains quite passable even with a small sedan or a scooter. This makes the Tahitian experience all the more authentic ;) It is generally best to rent fairly high rental cars. Oh yes! And there are also a lot of speed bumps here, all with different sizes... ;) *** MOSQUITOES/COCKROACHES/LIZARDS***: We are on an island, in a hot and humid country too (mainly in the rainy season), surrounded by a lot of vegetation too, so it is not at all uncommon to have mosquitoes. Even if we do everything to avoid mosquito lodges and maintain the garden as best as possible, you may still have them. Plan to bring your mosquito repellent. Otherwise, no worries, we offer it as an additional service. It is very likely that you will also come across lizards, which we call Margouillats here (yellow, green or black). They like to invite themselves into our homes, but know that they are completely harmless. If you see them, do not chase them, on the contrary, they can always get rid of mosquitoes and even cockroaches if they come across one. ***STRAY CHICKENS/ROOSTERS/DOGS*** It is absolutely not uncommon to come across free-range chickens and roosters, anywhere, on the side of the road, in parks, on our properties, in large hotels, in our public or private gardens...
