Tranquil Mountain House: Ultimate Relaxation Spot

Retreat, Rest and Relax at this unique and tranquil mountain getaway. Be in awe of the amazing view of the mountains from el Yunque to Barceloneta with the Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop. Amazing spot for bird watching and enjoying the sounds of the forest. Almost always the weather is cool and comfortable. 20 min. Car drive to the amazing one of a kind Cañón San Cristobal and the Barranquitas main square. The space This unique house is built in concrete and the front built in tongue and groove pine logs which adds a unique character to the interior. The property has a bit less of an acre with some old trees such as Grapefruit, Pomarosas, Maga, Moralon and some Bananas. We planted a food forest system of 20 trees with bio retention swales in 2023. There are two main trails to explore the property and we are in the process of building more trails through the food forest integrating flowers and more fruit trees. Guest access The house and entry areas are in best conditions. The downstairs is our space for working and managing the rest of the property and our fruit trees, it’s kept clean and tidy but not for guest use. Other things to note A car is a must to get here. There are some delivery restaurants and a couple of taxi services to drive around, if not renting or own a car. This a retreat and resting place in a very special community that has lived up here for the past 50 years, please keep in mind the neighborhood and neighbors.
