Get away from it all when you stay with us under the stars at Camp Firefly, a beautiful bell platform tent with King bed, bedding is soft and cozy. Located a mile away from world class fishing and swimming. Enjoy lounging on the spacious platform, sitting by fire pit, separate cooking area. Take a cold plunge in our spring-fed pond just across the street. Beaverkill River 1 mile away. The space The tent plant form is in an open grassy area on a small country road. Guest access You will have access to the camp site and the pond across the street and down the hill a bit. Other things to note Bring sleeping bags. We have three blankets at the site but you may be cold without your own sleeping bags. Temp can drop at night and is usually about 20 degrees colder than NYC. Basics pots, pan, basic cooking utensils, plates, bowls, mugs, flatware, French press, tea pot will be provided. The bathroom is an outhouse. It’s new. We use compostable latrine bags. At the end of your stay please remove the bag, tie it and leave it on the ground outside the outhouse. Provided: toilet paper, dish soap, 2 dish towels, 2 bath towels, 3 blankets, 2 gallons well tap water. Not provided: food, coffee, napkins, paper towels, spices, body soap, shampoo etc.trash bags. We no longer provide fire wood. You can buy bundles locally and at the grocery store. There is no running water, no shower, no sink. There is no electricity. We have three sets of solar string lights and 2 battery powered lanterns for light as well as 2 flashlights. Check day and night temps and weather and be prepared for the weather! Please bring your own sleeping bags. We have three blankets but the nights can be cold. There is no electricity or running water at this camp site. RULES: These are basic camping rules you should follow wherever you camp unless otherwise stated. 1. Follow fire safety. Put out fire when you leave. Do not ever leave fires unattended. Make sure it is all the way out. This is a basic camping rule to prevent forest fire and other damage. 2. This is a carry in carry out site. Bring your own trash bags and remove trash from the site when you leave. Please leave with everything you brought. Thanks! 3. Do not put diapers or dog waste in the toilet. This goes in your trash and should be removed from the site when you leave. 4. Do not leave food unattended. Keep food in lock box or in your car when you are not eating. This is a basic camping rule for animal protecting and to protect other people in the area. 4. Do not leave tent windows open when it rains or when you are not at the site. The side windows especially will flood the tent. 5. Bedding is for use inside the tent. Please bring your own blankets for outside use, stargazing, picnic, etc. 6.
