Waldachtal Hideaway - Your retreat

Discover our cozy retreat in the picturesque Waldachtal, right in the heart of the Black Forest. Our lovingly furnished apartment offers you the perfect base for exploring the breathtaking nature, hiking and relaxation. Enjoy the tranquility of our garden, the views of untouched forests and the proximity to local highlights. The apartment is fully equipped to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. The space The property has a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a fully equipped kitchen with all the important kitchen utensils. In the bedroom, there is a spacious double bed with a usable wardrobe. In the living room there is a sofa bed, dining table & chairs as well as a TV. The secluded garden can also be used, including a modern grill. In front of the apartment entrance is a separate parking space, which is available during the stay. No pets allowed. Guest access Completely separate granny apartment with its own kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room. Other things to note Shopping: An Edeka is about 1 km away at the entrance to the village. Other shops can be found in Dornstetten (Edeka & Lidl) and in Pfalzgrafenweiler (Edeka & Aldi). Restaurants: In the village, there are two kebab shops and an ice cream café, which also offers very good pizza. For traditional German food, we recommend the Gasthof Alte Post. In the neighboring village of Tumlingen, the beer garden Ochsengärtle invites you to a nice visit, where you can also eat well. Other restaurants can be found in Dornstetten, Freudenstadt or Nagold. Freudenstadt: Just 12 km away, Freudenstadt offers lots of shopping, restaurants and a large market square. Highlights include the market square, the town hall and the Protestant city church. Another highlight is the forest climbing park for adventure seekers in Hallwagen. There is also a barefoot park there. Nagold: Also about 20 km away is the beautiful Nagold in the Nagold Valley. The historic old town invites you to stroll or have a coffee. On Wednesdays and Saturdays there is also a well-stocked weekly market with fresh vegetables, fruit and many other things. It's worth a visit. Wellness and swimming: An outdoor swimming pool with a generous sunbathing area can be found directly in Pfalzgrafenweiler. Also recommended is the panoramic swimming pool in Freudenstadt with several indoor swimming pools and a wellness area. If you are interested in a day spa, Hotel Tanne in Baiersbronn or Hotel Waldsägemühle in Kälberbronn are good choices. You should make a reservation by phone in advance. Nature and hiking enthusiasts: The area offers numerous hiking and cycling trails, such as the Waldachtal circular hiking trail and the Jubiläumsweg in Schopfloch. Behind Freudenstadt on the Kniebnis there are also very nice hiking trails. Also recommended is the ore mine, which offers a beautiful circular route. At suitable places you can even swim directly in the lake.
