Located in a quiet mountain and riverside neighborhood, this newly renovated private guest house is the perfect place to relax and connect with nature, while being centrally-located and surrounded by SO much to see and do! Although nestled within forest and countryside, the space is minimalistic, modern, romantic, earthy, and clean; giving rustic mountain lodge meets 5 STAR luxury hotel suite vibes! The space Come enjoy a cozy hot chocolate by the fireplace and embrace the serene beauty of a winter forest wonderland in our beautifully decorated cabin! ❄️🌲 Enjoy the open and spacious studio suite that has it all! The living space includes an electric fireplace, 68 inch smart TV, soundbar, Amazon Echo Dot smart speaker, and large cozy couch with chaise so you can kick your feet up and relax. The “bedroom” nook includes a queen sized bed with fresh cotton sheets and comforter, throw blankets, and two side tables with a portable fan, alarm clock, and plenty of accessible charging ports. Full bathroom includes a standup shower with rain shower head and sprayer nozzle, luxury bath towels and washcloths, and lavish bathing essentials (shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner). The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven/air fryer, latte/cappuccino maker, and a small dining table for two and/or small workspace. The area is what makes this space a true gem!!! Enjoy the serenity of our wooded mountain neighborhood while surrounded by so many great places to see and things to do! Located in the heart of the Potomac Gap in Western Loudoun’s gorgeous VA wine country, we are just a 20 minute walk to the Potomac River and public boat ramp, 40 minute walk to our neighborhood winery (Creeks Edge - one of the very best in VA wine country), 10 minute drive from the cute historic villages of Lovettsville and Waterford and the infamous farmers markets and antique shops in Lucketts; 5 minutes from the Marc train; 20 minutes from the charming town and historic national park at Harpers Ferry, WV; and 20 minutes from the lively and artsy Frederick, MD and Leesburg, VA! This special spot sits smack dab in VA wine country atop the Catoctin Ridge’s highest mountain in Loudoun County. The neighborhood walks on this mountain are over-the-top and like no where else in the area - the neighborhood all-around is what makes this spot so special and staying here such a treat! Guest access Guests have access to the private driveway (separate from the host’s home main driveway), entire 2nd floor studio suite, and outdoor hangout and fire pit space. Hosts avoid use of the garage space below the suite with aim to maintain guests’ privacy during their stay. Host’s home is completely separate from the guesthouse, sitting approximately 100 yards to the back right of it. Other things to note Two friendly dogs live on the owners fenced property next door. They are mostly well-behaved but might get excited and say hi when they see you come and go. Their two cats and chickens may come say hi too! Neighborhood sits on a mountain and has all gravel roads with some tight turns so please drive slow. Terrain of property is pretty rough and there are steps that lead up to the suite. Driveway is steep and somewhat difficult to maneuver at the driveway entrance so AWD is recommended but not essential. The driveway is all yours though, so parking at the bottom is perfectly fine! Severe mountain weather in a wooded neighborhood can cause for power outages. Electricity and internet cannot be guaranteed if there is an outage. We strive to maintain a critter-free environment, but please keep in mind that this is a forest cabin. You’ll likely encounter a bug or come across a cobweb during your stay! Mandatory cleaning once per week. If staying over 6 nights, host will contact you to arrange cleaning time. During the winter months, we will permit cancellations with a full refund for your stay if more than 3 inches of snow is forecasted the day before your arrival.
