The Octagon at Jumpoff Joey

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Two-story octagon located on 7 private acres with a year-round creek and your own private swimming hole. Hiking trails right from the back door. 15 minutes from downtown Grants Pass, 30 minutes from 7 Feathers Casino, 2 hours to the Redwoods and Crater Lake National Park. Conveniently located less than 2 miles from I-5. Spend your day at one of the many wineries in the Rogue Valley or fishing/rafting/hiking along the Wild and Scenic Rogue River. The space The octagon is the first building you will see when you drive down the driveway. There is a dedicated parking area just for the octagon. We live further down the driveway in a separate house. You may see us come and go throughout your stay but the property is big enough for plenty of privacy for everyone. We love all animals and have two friendly dogs (a labradoodle and a goldendoodle) as well as several cats that roam the property and may come by to say hi. We are located in a peaceful, rural setting in the woods. We do our best to keep things very clean but being that we are located in the woods there will be bugs and spiders making an occasional appearance during your stay. Guest access Feel free to roam the walking trails by the creek, the fruit tree orchard, and swimming hole area. Please note that poison oak is present along the walking trails and in the woods during the summer. We do have two large dogs (a labradoodle and a goldendoodle) that will bark to say hi if they see you but they are both very friendly and we keep them in a fenced-in backyard at our house on the property or on leashes when being walked. Other things to note There is one queen bed upstairs and a queen size futon downstairs.
