Tranquil waterfront haven

Unwind in peace and tranquillity on the veranda, sun terrace, or pool. With stunning sea views from this original rustic Caribbean family home, nestled in 3/4 of an acre of mature garden with its own private jetty. This property is an idyllic retreat for family gatherings or peaceful getaways. Three bedrooms, including a master with an en-suite bathroom plus two double bedrooms that share a shower room and separate toilet. A traditional Caribbean kitchen/utility area with modern conveniences The space Enter the property into a spacious living area with direct views out to the water. The Master bedroom is via the door to your right and the other bedrooms are past the kitchen and snug area to the left hand side of the property. Enjoy sunrises and sunsets on the terrace. Immerse yourself in the properties natural environment, you will see plenty of birds around the property - including hummingbirds if you are lucky! The birds especially enjoy it if you put fruit out (open banana, etc) on the bushes out front of the terrace early in the morning! We see kingfishers and ospreys out on the bay as it’s very peaceful. As you are close to nature sometimes the wildlife comes in, little gekos are common as are occasional millipede and sometimes ants. You will get mosquitos though less in the dry season. All the windows have mosquito nets so try and keep bedroom doors closed as it helps to keep them out. In addition you will find some repellant/ bug spray items in the store in the Kitchen and you can buy more at the supermarkets if you need. A walk along the headland also provides a chance to see the beauty of the Point and there are a number of beaches to walk to including Old Harbour, Spray Bay (end of the headland) and Boule Beach. Old Harbour and Boule are safe to rock pool/snorkel but Spray Bay is quite rough so you would need to take care. We have provided 2 Sun beds and 4 outdoor floor mats for guests to use around pool as well as 3 boogie boards and some beach items for use at the beach. There is a cupboard by the front door with some games in. There are also some reading books to use down in the guest area. Guest access The House guide and checkin details are released 24-48hrs proir to your arrival. We hope you enjoy the space but this is a family home and some personal and diy items are left at the property. Mainly they are stored away and we have marked them Private such as storeroom and some cupboards. The desk drawers in the main bedroom are also marked Private. The garage is also locked. Other things to note This property is waterfront and walkable to some beaches on the headland. The waves at some can be rough and others muddy/rocky. Best sunbathing beaches are a short drive away. Beach towels and mats are available to use.
