Cozy Guest Suite near Uptown Waterloo!

Enjoy a dinner and drinks in Uptown Waterloo, located just a 10-15 minute walk from our cozy guest suite! Relax in the guest suite by the indoor fireplace or take a walk in the neighborhood. The guest suite is the perfect landing spot for your visit to the Region of Waterloo (to the universities, St. Jacob's, or tech district of Kitchener-Waterloo). The space The guest suite is perfect for relaxing in the evenings, in front of the TV or by reading a book by the indoor fireplace. It's open concept space has a lot of natural light and cozy details that make you feel comfortable and at home. It is close to many restaurants and nightlife in Uptown Waterloo and to the vibrant festivals of Downtown Kitchener. It's also a short drive away from St. Jacob's Farmers Market (a major tourist attraction in the region), and Elora Gorge. In the heart of KW's tech hub, close to Wilfrid Laurier University, the University of Waterloo, Conestoga College's Waterloo campus the guest suite is very accessible by car, bus, bike or foot. Guest access Our cozy guest suite basement apartment has a separate entrance that you and your guest will be able to access using a keypad. The Guest Suite The guest suite has a private kitchenette, living area, bedroom and bathroom that is accessible and private to our guests. The hallway that leads between the guest suite and your bathroom is shared space (we typically only access the basement to access our other closed off space). The guest suite has a kitchenette and dining area for your use including a sink, microwave, coffee machine, fridge, induction hot plate and toaster oven. We provide the essentials including coffee and tea (caffeine is definitely considered an essential in our home!) The bedroom has a fireplace and queen bed, perfect for cozying up with a good book. And the living space has a large smart TV with Netflix, perfect for watching a movie after a long day. Parking We have one spot available for guests. If you require parking, please let us know. Accessibility You have to climb and descend several steps to enter the basement apartment. During your stay We live in the upstairs portion of the house accessed by a separate entrance. We are available for assistance with anything if we are around or via phone if we are out. We are happy to share our local recommendations! Other things to note We have a friendly family dog but she will not have access to your guest suite. You may encounter her outside on our way to a walk, especially during the beautiful summer months! She loves the sun and will spend all day lying in the sun if she can. You might hear her bark if a squirrel or rabbit passes by or as she's getting used to the new sounds and movement coming from the basement.
