The space The AirB&B 1-bedroom 1 bath apartment is 700 sq ft on the ground level that shares walls with main house the hosts live in. It is at the popular beginners surf break Mondos Beach and within walking distance from the more advanced Pitas Point surf break. There are excellent tide pools to explore at Mondos Cove where you can also beach comb, swim, and sunbathe depending on sand levels and tides. There are beach chairs, an umbrella, and cooler for your use . Also, there are two soft top surfboards and two boogie boards, which you can use at your own risk as well as four wetsuits spanning women's small to men's large. You would be located 6 miles from Ventura, 10 miles from Carpinteria, and 20 miles from Santa Barbara along the beautiful picturesque Pacific Coast Highway. Each city has excellent shops, farmers markets, and restaurants. There is a bike path that runs right behind the AirB&B where you can hop on and go in either direction for miles where you'll see uninhabited mountains on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other side with a view of the Channel Islands. Guest access Except for the case of an emergency, access to the backyard is not permitted. The apartment access is through a door on the right side of the house (when viewed from Pacific Coast Highway). Guests do not have access to the side yard on the left side of the house. Other things to note We have a whole house water purification system by "Lifesource" so the tap water is safe to drink.
