Kylas

Kylas is a two storey holiday cottage situated on the edge of Loch Dunvegan. Hosting three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large open kitchen, dining and living area. There is direct access to the shore. The space Kylas is a recently renovated traditional three bedroom croft house situated on the shores of Loch Dunvegan in the township of Dunvegan. With uninterrupted views of MacLeods Tables to savour from the lounge and garden, you won't want to leave! Located in Dunvegan, it is just a short walk to the local shops, cafes and restaurants. As you enter Kylas, there is a small porch area with hanging space for coats and muddy shoes. The open plan living / dining / kitchen area is light and bright, taking up the length of the ground floor and offering fantastic views of Loch Dunvegan with MacLeods Tables in the distance. The kitchen is well equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. There is a cafetiere for morning coffee. The kitchen island provides additional workspace as well as an additional seating area. The dining area has a glass table with six dining chairs, perfect for evening meals. And there is a cosy seating area at the bay window, the best spot to watch the world go by! The lounge has a corner leather sofa, coffee table and flat screen TV. There is an assortment of boardgames for rainy days, WiFi for connectivity and binoculars for any budding bird watchers. Please note the wood burner is undergoing maintenance and will be up and running soon. Once it is available, we will include it in the description and amenities. Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom, with king size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets, and a bathroom with shower, W.C. and wash hand basin. Off from the kitchen is the utility room. Here you will find a washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes horse and the back door! Upstairs, the master bedroom has a king size bed, wardrobe, bedside tables and chest of drawers. This spacious bedroom has dual aspect windows looking out over Loch Dunvegan and towards MacLeods Tables. The twin bedroom has two single beds, a wardrobe area, bedside tables and a chest of drawers. It also benefits from dual aspect windows looking out over Loch Dunvegan and MacLeods Tables. The upstairs bathroom has a bath, W.C. and wash hand basin. There is a cot that can be used by guests. Please bring your own linen. Outside, there is parking for two vehicles. A picnic table and garden chairs are perfect for sunny afternoons! And for those looking to explore the shore a little further, there is access through the gate. (Please keep this gate shut or you may find sheep appearing in the garden!)
