The woods cannot be accessed because they are privately owned, but there are number of lovely treks within a 2-minute drive. It is a fantastic location for visiting all that Sussex has to offer. This is the perfect romantic getaway with lot of things to do and places to visit. The famed Balcombe viaduct and two magnificent National Trust homes are only a short drive away. London is 45 minutes by train, while Brighton is 25 minutes by car. In the village of Balcombe, you will find shops and taverns. If you are looking for a tranquil place to stay, then this is for you.
