On 2 acres off of Highway 1, our magical country guesthouse features a stylish decor, comfy beds with French linens, a complete kitchen, fire-pit and a terrace where you can watch the sun going down and hear the ocean waves as you drift off to sleep. The space The property is 2 acres off of highway 1. Deer frolic across the yard and chickens sometimes waddle in. In 3 minutes you are at Ward Street with a breathtaking promenade along the ocean. Guest access You will have access to the whole downstairs with your own terrace. The fire pit is in a shared space but I rarely use it. You can gather some kindling from the property and find or buy some wood nearby. Other things to note MacKerricher Park is just down the road with an ocean-front boardwalk down to tide pools and gorgeous views. Or venture into the town of Fort Bragg to Glass Beach, ride the Skunk Train, explore vintage shops or the Farmer’s Market on Wednesdays. A smaller market is held each Friday in Mendocino, 25 minutes South of here. Bring a bowl and pick blackberries off the bluffs while hiking out to the beach.
