Rochester Suite at Orton Hall

The Rochester Suite is a self-catering two-bedroom apartment within Orton Hall, a 17th century manor house, set in 6 acres of lawns and woodlands in the Westmorland Dales of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It is tastefully converted into private self-catering apartments, all benefiting from shared use of the Great Hall with a pool table and baby grand piano. It's perfect for a break to enjoy peace & quiet in a beautiful corner of England. The space The Rochester Suite is on the first floor and has a spacious living-dining room with two sofas (one a sofa-bed), TV and DVD library and free wifi. The dining table has enchanting views over the rear lawns where you can watch the red squirrels and rabbits. The fully-equipped kitchen has a cooker with grill, hob and oven; a microwave, dishwasher, fridge, toaster and kettle. There is also an air fryer, blender, small food processor and full selection of pots, pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery. The bedroom has a romantic king-size four-poster bed (150cm/5ft wide) with curtains to ensure a really warm, cosy space. The second bedroom has 2 single beds. The bathroom has a bath with relaxing jets and an over-bath electric shower plus sink and WC. There is a travel cot and high chairs available free of charge for babies and toddlers. In addition to the fully private space within the Rochester Suite, guests also have the use of the Great Hall with a baby grand piano, pool table, chess board, fireplace and plenty of sofa seating. There is a communal laundry room with a washer and dryer for a small charge. Guest access You have full private use of the whole apartment as well as use of the communal Great Hall and grounds
