Blossom Barn

Quirky, quaint and cosy 120+ year retreat for a couple. This charming studio-style barn is a delightful blend of upcycled treasures, new & vintage comforts with a lot of charm. Through a rustic gate, past a secret garden, up 8 stairs and into a high-ceilinged space, eclectic craftsmanship and wooden rafters greet you. Sandgate station, less than 700m away is only 3 stops from the BEC. Close to shops, restaurants, bars and beachfront. Brisbane Airport is 15 minutes away by car. The space Blossom Barn is situated just behind our house. The house is a high set really old Queenslander, with the Barn being older. Our back door is diagonally across from your door, but rest assured, a screen is in place to give you and me, that sense of privacy. Guest access Guests will access the property through the blue gate on the right side, facing the house. A lock box, to the left of the blue gate, contains the key for gate padlock and barn. Other things to note Blossom Barn has 8 stairs to access the double sliding doors. Blossom Barn unfortunately does not have room for a dishwasher, washing machine or dryer. We only have a microwave and toaster, but there are plenty of local restaurants within walking distance. Cereal, fruit and bread for toast is provided as part of your welcome basket. If you’re a late arrival, please let Ange know and she’ll organise any extra shopping requirements you need. This can be sorted via Airbnb messages. This listing is not suitable for toddlers or young children. Pre-approval will be required. If you are booking a stay of longer than 10 days, please note that Blossom Barn will be serviced once a week. This includes a change of bedding and towels, ensuring the comfort and cleanliness of the property for both current and future guests. A service fee of $50 will apply.
