Sankofa Sanctuary sits on a hill with unencumbered views of ocean, mountains, St. George's city and the Marina. It is off the beaten path yet a 17 minute drive from the airport and only 10 minutes to the capital city. Buses run close by. Walking is also an option. The grounds are lush and include fruit trees. The quarters are charming and homey while possessing the amenities you need. Housekeeping is available M-F. You can enjoy complete privacy or interact with other guests by choice. The space The cottage is quaint and charming and feels like home. It has rustic elements and a warm and inviting vibe. There are views of the neighboring valley with a peak of the ocean. With two separate sleeping areas and 2 private bathrooms you have options of how to use the space. With it's own entrance the upper level has a sitting area with access to a verandah. The kitchen is located on the lower level right off of the other entrance. A spiral staircase separates the two levels of the cottage. Guest access Guests can use the pool and the gazebo. Important to note that the pool is closest to the main house and requires a short walk up the driveway to access. There are times when other guests may be present and using the pool. Other things to note The estate has 4 separate dwellings so there will be other guests at times. We occasionally host wellness programs so you may encounter the hum of a meditation session or see a sun salutation being executed on the pool deck. Our infrared sauna is available for booking if not previously reserved. We are a hub for health and wellness so all good vibes.
