The Coach House, Burcombe

This unique place has a style all its own. An 1846 Coach House to the Old Vicarage, Burcombe which has been brought completely up to date for a multi generational stay and hideaway. Set in the Nadder valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty and within minutes from Salisbury and StoneHenge. Countryside walking, cycling, and horse riding opportunities are endless and Wiltshire is blessed with bounteous pubs and dining to end your day. The space Renovated for accessibility downstairs; the Coach House has widened doors and flows from dining room to kitchen and large sitting room. From its own hallway and acoustic door the double bedroom has its own wood burner, 4 post bed and a bespoke sliding door allows wide access into the wetroom with underfloor heating. Oak floors throughout downstairs. We’ve found this layout and facilities ideal for our senior family members! Upstairs and separated by a landing are another double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a twin room with en-suite bathroom. Outside is a large paddock area with garden table and seating. A BBQ can be provided (in season). The first bag of kiln dry logs is free. Further bags can be purchased (at cost price). Guest access The Coach House is adjacent to our family home (The Old Vicarage). Entered from a long drive off Wilton Road and large electric wrought iron gates guests have up to 4 car parking spaces directly in front of the Coach House with level access. The oak front door leading to the boot room isn’t sufficiently wide for a wheelchair but as the photos demonstrate the side access provides this and we will move the dining table into the large sitting room (behind the leather sofa) to enable super access through the dining room. We aim to make everyone’s stay with us ‘a delight’ regardless of their needs. Please just ask. You have a large grass paddock area to the rear of the Coach House.
