Lovely Strand Cottage on beautiful Galloway coast

Relax in this lovely cottage set in a large organic garden in the seaside village of Southerness in Galloway, ideal for exploring this beautiful area of Scotland The space Enter the cottage by the light and airy garden room with dining table and chairs. The modern kitchen is well equipped with hob, oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher as well as all necessary cutlery, crockery, glasses, pans, etc for your stay. The living room (with a large picture window looking out on to the gardens and views of the Solway Firth and the Cumbrian Mountains beyond), has a large smart TV, bluetooth sound system and log fire. Bedroom 1 to the front (with views to the Solway Firth and the Cumbrian Mountains) has a king size bed and fitted wardrobe. Bedroom 2 to the rear (with mountain views to Criffel) has 2 single beds which can be joined together to make a king size bed if preferred and again a fitted wardrobe. The shower room has a shower, sink and toilet. The cottage has full central heating and wifi. Travel cot, high chair and baby bath are available if required. Well behaved dogs are welcome and owners are asked to bring their own pet beds and blankets to keep dogs off the furniture. Outside there is parking for 4 cars, a sunny rear garden with outdoor bbq and dining furniture. To the front there are further garden areas with lawns, terrace, vegetable plots and fruit trees. There is also a garage which can be used for bike storage and a utility room with washing machine and dryer. The 'dog friendly' beach is just a short stroll away and in the village there is a shop, cafe, chip shop and 2 pubs. Guest access As well as the cottage, you have exclusive use of the rear garden. You are also welcome to use the front garden although occasionally the gardener may be in. Other things to note The cottage will be clean and tidy ready for your arrival. The beds will be made and towels set out. In the shower room and kitchen there will be household cleaning liquids, cloths and toilet roll ready for your use. You should bring any further 'consumables', personal toiletries and food and drink for your stay.
